Radius

A place-based approach to cultivate flourishing communities.

Thrive where you live

We believe people should thrive because of — not in spite of — where they live.

Radius catalyzes social-sector innovation by changing the way we understand, approach, and solve the most pressing problems in our communities. We empower local leaders across diverse sectors to transform their communities by cultivating the conditions for flourishing in their neighborhoods and cities.

Group of people with all hands in the center

Every person empowered, every city transformed

No one individual, organization, or sector can transform a community. It takes diverse perspectives to identify the interconnected barriers holding us back — and diverse contributions to eliminate them.

In neighborhoods and cities across the country, Stand Together Foundation is equipping nonprofit, business, civic, and faith leaders with the tools, resources, and platforms to collaborate more effectively. Together, we are innovating to remove barriers and cultivate healthy ecosystems where individuals, families, and entire communities can flourish.

No master plans. No top-down systems.

Our approach helps local changemakers overcome their community’s most stubborn and persistent problems. Together, we challenge the paradigms that prevent well-intentioned efforts from driving lasting change.

Graphic of old paradigms which chase downstream symptoms; implement disjointed solutions; mitigate the effects of long-standing barriers; rely on the professionals; replicate processes and programs; and evaluate success based on reach and services delivered. vs New paradigms, which target upstream, causal factors; cultivate healthy ecosystems; eliminate root causes of long-standing barriers; empower many different people to contribute; scale principles and paradigms; evaluate success based on transformation
