AFP Action puts grassroots strength behind U.S. Sen. Jon Husted in Ohio Senate race.

The massive grassroots army rallied with the incumbent senator north of Columbus, with more than 50 activists joining for a day of knocking doors.

 

Last year, Sen. Husted was appointed to the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by JD Vance’s elevation to vice president. Now, he must prove to voters that he deserves a full term representing the Buckeye State in the upper chamber.

And Americans for Prosperity Action is helping voters hear his case.

Dozens of activists gathered in the town of Delaware to hear from the candidate they’ve been supporting for months.

Below, you can see Sen. Husted rallying the massive crowd of activists on a Saturday morning.

Donovan O’Neil, AFP Action’s senior advisor for Ohio, described what the incredible attendance means.

“The turnout we saw this weekend is proof that Ohioans are energized and ready for a new direction after years of policies that have made it harder for families to get ahead and left too many voters feeling unheard.”

After the rally, activists got to work, hitting the central Ohio neighborhoods in force.

Fueled by your investment, the team has already knocked more than 330,000 doors in the Buckeye State. Activists like Angela (seen below) are leading the charge.

The photo above is from her sixth consecutive day connecting voters to Sen. Husted in her neighborhood, and the team isn’t slowing down.

Another activist recently met Terri, a retiree whose husband is a retired police officer.

After hearing about Sen. Husted’s support for the One Big Beautiful Bill and plans to improve the economy, she pledged her vote for Sen. Husted.
