AFP Action activists ramp up door-knocking in high-stakes Michigan U.S. Senate race.

AFP Action activists ramp up door-knocking in high-stakes Michigan U.S. Senate race.

Across Michigan, activists are connecting with voters at their doorsteps, sharing Mike Rogers’ vision to lower costs and fight for them.

“Michigan Democrats did not nominate an outlier. They nominated the direction their party has been moving in for years — a direction built on a simple premise: that government, not free people, is the answer to every problem in your life.”

That’s how Americans for Prosperity Action’s Nathan Nascimento and Tim Golding described the high-stakes Michigan U.S. Senate race in a recent Americans for Prosperity Action memo, available here.

The pressure couldn’t be higher, which is why AFP Action activists are mobilizing across the state to knock doors and connect with key voters.

Activists have been speaking with voters across the Great Lakes State, including in Southeast Michigan and Grand Rapids, to make the case that Mike Rogers will fight for them.

Below, see one of the newest AFP Action activists ready to knock doors.

What’s the key to winning in November?

Face-to-face grassroots engagement on a massive scale.

Hundreds of activists will need to engage with their neighbors, listen to their concerns, and explain how Rogers will advocate for principled policies that reduce the cost of living and repair the broken education system.

This message is being bolstered by highly targeted digital ads that highlight Rogers’ commitment to cutting red tape and excessive government spending.

You can watch the most recent ad for Rogers here or below.

This ad is part of AFP Action’s $5.6 million digital buy spanning the most competitive and consequential races leading up to November.

Thanks to your generous support, AFP Action’s grassroots army is on the ground in the toughest U.S. Senate races in the country. You’ll see those battleground states in the graphic below.

The Stand Together community’s work to transform government includes:

  •  AFP’s grassroots work to stop the worst policy threats our country faces, including bloated social spending bills, radical new tax schemes, and restrictions on free speech;

  •  Advancing reforms that help Americans achieve their own American Dream, including cutting excessive red tape, lowering the spending and tax burden, and breaking barriers to quality health care; and

  •  AFP’s and AFP Action’s efforts to elect the maximum number of good lawmakers at the federal and state level who’ll advance principled reforms once in office.

The Stand Together community is comprised of independent organizations, including 501(c)(3)s, 501(c)(4)s, and the 501(c)(6) Stand Together, Inc. These organizations share a vision for a society of mutual benefit but operate independently under separate Boards of Directors and management and only conduct activities consistent with their particular tax status. Terms like “we,” “our,” and “us,” as well as “Stand Together,” and “the Stand Together community,” are used here for the sake of convenience.
