(April 7, 2025, Austin, TX) – Every chord played in Austin tells a story, weaving together the fabric of a city built on sound and soul. In the Live Music Capital of the World, concerts are more than just entertainment—they’re a way of life. Stand Together, a philanthropic community committed to tackling the root causes of the country’s biggest challenges, is turning up the volume on change once again. Using music’s unifying power alongside Austin Arena Co’s community outreach platform, Red River Rising, Stand Together will co-produce its second benefit concert in Austin, demonstrating the power of music as a force for good.
Taking place on Thursday, September 11th at Moody Center, the Stand Together benefit concert will feature Seven-time reigning Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music “Group of the Year” Old Dominion, with Austin-Native Ty Meyers and special guest John Morgan. Following the success of last year’s inaugural event which raised $45,000 for Mobile Loaves and Fishes, the continued partnership will once again drive positive change through music. "All net ticket revenue from the 2025 Stand Together presents Old Dominion benefit concert will go to Travis Manion Foundation, a leading veteran service organization focused on empowering our nation's heroes and families of the fallen to develop character in future generations. With over half of veterans and surviving families reporting feeling disconnected and isolated post service or loss, TMF addresses the root causes of mental health and well-being by providing personal development, opportunities to find renewed purpose through service, and a supportive and understanding community.
“Coming off a successful debut concert last year, we are excited to once again collaborate with Red River Rising to co-produce the annual benefit concert at Moody Center,” said Colette Weintraub, Head of Stand Together Music, Sports & Entertainment. “Events like this give us the chance to support organizations like Travis Manion Foundation, who is making a real difference every day by empowering the community.” She added, “We see immense potential within the music industry to drive social change, and we’re thankful for our partnership with Oak View Group to help artists create a lasting impact on the causes that matter most to them.”
Stand Together will continue to play a key role in expanding the initiative’s influence and outreach within the community. On site fans can expect opportunities to engage with and learn about the beneficiary at Moody Center. From the moment of arrival, audiences will find ways to take action and make meaningful connections.
“Old Dominion sits prominently at the forefront of country music. Selecting the right artists annually to support this partnership allows us to combine the power of live entertainment with grassroots solutions to some of Austin’s biggest challenges. We’re grateful to have Old Dominion headline this year’s event and look forward to another unforgettable night of music and impact.” - Jeff Nickler, Senior Vice President of OVG Austin and General Manager of Moody Center, added, “Bringing people together through music is at the core of what we do at Moody Center, and donating all net ticket proceeds is a perfect example of our dedication to the Austin community and beyond. We’re honored to partner with Stand Together and Red River Rising to support Travis Manion Foundation and their incredible work with the veterans in our city and beyond.
"Community is at the center of everything we do at Travis Manion Foundation - each day we work to build a supportive community that empowers our nation's veterans and families of the fallen to inspire character in future generations," said Ryan Manion, CEO, Travis Manion Foundation. About Old Dominion
Old Dominion’s skyscraping anthems and electrifying live shows have put the Multi-Platinum-selling band prominently at the forefront of country music. Fusing clever lyrics and an infectious sound, their lyrical wit and hook-heavy songwriting has certainly proved to be a winning formula for Nashville’s hottest band. It’s no wonder Rolling Stone cited Old Dominion as “one of mainstream country music’s most popular live groups.” Since breaking onto the music scene, the band has notched nine No. 1 singles at country radio, surpassed five billion on-demand streams, earned a dozen RIAA Platinum and Gold single certifications, and headlined arenas and amphitheaters around the globe. In September, the band debuted a greatest hits compilation Odies but Goodies. The 31-track collection spans the band’s journey from lark to meaningful headliner in a way that pays tribute to what the fans ask for. Old Dominion are currently the reigning 7X Academy of Country Music and 7X Country Music Association “Group of the Year.” Most recently, they earned their seventh successive win for “Vocal Group of the Year” at the 2024 CMA Awards, breaking the record for most consecutive Vocal Group Award wins in CMA history. To celebrate this historic feat, the band performed a seven-show residency at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium this February, raising more than $1.25M for seven charities the band has been actively engaged with over their career. Most recently, the band was nominated for “Group of the Year” at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards, marking their 10th consecutive nomination in the category.
