SCOTUS ruling, Congress must act

Today, the Supreme Court rejected the administration's latest attempt to undo the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program

Today, the Supreme Court rejected the administration's latest attempt to undo the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. It held that the Administration failed to offer a reasoned explanation for its decision to rescind DACA and thus violated administrative procedure. While the decision ensures that the protections under DACA are not eliminated today it does not permanently preserve the program.
