VELA funds people and programs that are meeting students’ and families’ unique education needs. Since launching in 2020, VELA has provided funding to 1,600 innovative programs, including many that are led by educators who were burned out from traditional, one-size-fits-all models.
Instead of sending all students and teachers down the same one-size-fits-all path, VELA enables them to own their own bright future. Many of the innovative educational programs featured in the above video are VELA Education Fund grant recipients.
