The world’s largest awards program recognizing excellence in promotion marketing — Pro Awards — awarded Stand Together’s Common Ground Exhibit the distinct honor of 2021 Silver Winner for Best Cause/Corporate Social Responsibility Campaign. The 2021 Pro Awards winners competed with over 1,000 entries.
To help elevate the important role that immigration plays in our culture, Stand Together created a mobile art installation complete with informative and inspiring videos, DJs and free food trucks to spotlight the contributions immigrants have made to America since its founding. The exhibit toured the country, reaching more than 50,000 people, and was so successful that a second tour is in the works and a duplicate installation is on display at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum through January 2022.
“On behalf of Stand Together, we are honored to receive the Silver Award for ‘Best Cause/Corporate Social Responsibility’ campaign for the Common Ground exhibit. We know that 75% of Americans, across both sides of the political spectrum, believe that immigration is a good thing and hope every viewer who walks away from the exhibit is inspired by the amount of common ground we share on the issue of immigration. Now, imagine the progress we can make as a country if we started the conversation with what unites us rather than what divides us,” said Jorge Lima, Vice President of Immigration for Stand Together.
